A welcoming early years setting in Lewisham is seeking a dedicated and nurturing Level 3 EYFS Practitioner to join their team. The Role:

  • Support the planning and delivery of engaging EYFS activities in line with the Early Years Framework
  • Work with children aged 2–5, supporting their learning through play-based and structured activities
  • Promote children’s communication, language, personal, social, and emotional development
  • Observe, assess, and record children’s progress to support their next steps in learning
  • Provide a safe, caring, and stimulating environment that supports each child’s individual needs
  • Work closely with the EYFS team to maintain high standards of care and education
  • Support daily routines including meal times, personal care, and transitions

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Holds a Level 3 qualification in Early Years / Childcare (or equivalent)
  • Experience working in an EYFS setting (nursery or primary school reception)
  • A good understanding of the EYFS Framework and child development
  • Warm, caring, and enthusiastic approach to working with young children
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team
  • Passionate about supporting children’s early learning and development

Requirements:

  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Relevant references
