A nurturing and inclusive mainstream primary school in Lewisham is looking for a qualified Level 3 Early Years Practitioner to join their team. This role is within their EYFS provision, supporting children in Nursery and/or Reception, and forms part of their wraparound care service.

Role Overview:

You will be supporting young children during before, During and after school hours, delivering a safe, stimulating and caring environment. You’ll work as part of a small, supportive team and may also provide additional support for children with special educational needs or emotional needs.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

Supporting children aged 2–5 during breakfast Session, During day Session and after-school sessions

Creating a calm, engaging, and nurturing environment

*

Building strong, secure relationships with key children and their families

*

Providing 1:1 or small group support for children with additional needs, if required

*

Helping to implement routines, behaviour support strategies, and individual care plans

*

Working closely with the EYFS team, SENCO, and external professionals when needed
