An outstanding SEMH School in Greenwich is looking for a dedicated and resilient SEND Teaching Assistant to join their team immediately. Responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 and small group support, both in and out of class
- Build strong, trusting relationships with pupils
- Help implement behaviour support plans and therapeutic strategies

- Work alongside teachers, SENCOs, therapists, and pastoral teams
- Encourage emotional resilience, self-esteem, and positive social skills
What We're Looking For
- We're seeking compassionate and proactive individuals who can remain calm under pressure and are committed to helping students succeed—both academically and emotionally.
- A genuine passion for working with young people with SEMH needs
- Relevant experience working in schools, with SEMH or SEN
- Patience, emotional intelligence, and strong behaviour management skills
- The ability to de-escalate situations and offer positive reinforcement
- Experience working with vulnerable young people (formal or informal) is a plus
- A background in youth work, sports coaching, mentoring, or care is also highly valued
