We are looking for 2 X SEN Teaching Assistants with BSL experience and must be certified in BSL Level 2 or above with good communication/people skills with a good measure of enthusiasm to work with a small number of BSL students at an SEN School based in Tonbridge for children with a wide range of SEN support requirements.

The main duty of the role is to communicate with the students and help them in class and ensure they are happy and to look after them., Must be BSL certified (minimum Level 2),

Experience supporting children within a school setting is advantageous

Experience supporting students with hearing impairments (HI) is advantageous

Being of a kind, caring and compassionate nature.

Be confident in signing

Must have a DBS on the update service for children

The position is long term and working school term time only to start with, after a set number of weeks there is a chance the school may look at permanent options further down the line.

The pay rate is around £90 – £95 per day for the right candidate.
