We are recruiting on behalf of a local Primary School for an experienced General Teaching Assistant for a long-term position starting ASAP in Bexley. Looking after children whilst working in Reception class as a General Teaching Assistant. The school in question is a rewarding working environment with great support in place for their staff with a good Ofsted rating.
There is a highly competitive rate of pay which is £90+ per day, for working hours of 8.30am-3.30pm. Working days are Monday-Friday term time only.
Requirements of the role are:
- Supporting the children on a day to day basis with their basic Numeracy and Literacy.
- Using your experience of effective behaviour management.
- Holding a relevant Teaching Assistant qualification or EYFS qualified is advantageous.
- Additionally, fulfilling any required duties defined by the class teacher.
- Be willing to provide lunch cover on occasions.
- Any experience of SEN or relevant SEN qualification is advantageous but not a necessity.
