The Role: Head of Product & Delivery (Interim) We’re on the hunt for a stellar Head of Product & Delivery (Interim) to oversee our Product and Delivery teams during maternity cover. This isn’t just a placeholder role – it’s your chance to guide strategy, inspire teams, and make a real difference. Oh, and did we mention you’ll play a key role in the ongoing enhancement and evolution of our shiny new website, launched in October 2024? If you’ve got experience in education (because it’s non-negotiable here), are a pro at leading teams, and can juggle strategy with day-to-day delivery, you’ll fit right in. What You’ll Be Doing Leading Product & Delivery Teams Mentor, guide, and inspire our product and platform heroes. Host stand-ups, manage workflows, and ensure business priorities are aligned with our 5-year growth plan. Be the ultimate decision-maker on our website development, collaborating with developers, UX experts, and key stakeholders. Champion team development through training, strategy days, and recruitment. Shape and implement long-term strategies for our products and platforms. Drive efficiency by refining processes and workflows. Engage the whole business in product and platform priorities (no silos here!). Plan workloads, allocate resources, and keep things running like clockwork. Oversee multiple product lines at different stages of development. Lead website development cycles and prioritise functionality requests. Keep deadlines in check and bottlenecks at bay. Quality Control Guru Ensure our products and platforms are top-notch, relevant, and ready to wow customers. Stay ahead of industry trends, competitor analysis, and customer feedback. Collaborate with Marketing to make sure our products shine in campaigns and reach the right people. Organisational Development Advocate Live our values and support our mission every day. Take ownership of your personal and professional growth. Get involved in ad-hoc tasks that keep the business humming. Requirements What You Bring Experience leading cross-functional teams, preferably in a product or tech-driven environment. A background in education (you get us, and we’ll get you!). Strong strategic and analytical skills to turn ideas into action. Brilliant communication and interpersonal skills for working with stakeholders at all levels. A proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget. Familiarity with tools like Miro and sprint software. Knowledge of quality assurance practices and a commitment to excellence. The ability to engage in technical conversations with web developers and scope new website features. Why Join Us?
