Seize the Opportunity: Become a Peripatetic Teaching Assistant!
Ready to change lives? Classroom Recruiters, in partnership with a top Regional child services provider in the Mansfield area, is looking for a Peripatetic Teaching Assistant. This full-time role isn’t just a job—it’s a mission to help secondary-aged children thrive outside the mainstream educational system.

- Local work: You will only work in your local area for this position, so no travelling huge distances for work.
- Great hours: You will work from 08:30 till 15:30 Monday to Friday.
- School holidays Off: You will be off for the 13 weeks of the year that are school holidays, creating a great life balance. (Salary is pro rata)
- Every Day is Different: One day you’re in a local library, the next you’re in a community centre or a specialist learning hub. You’ll work one-on-one with a set group of 6-12 children over a two to three week rota, all within your local area.

Who You Are:

- Experienced: You need to have worked with children either in a school, nursery, college, residential setting or related field. We are very open to talking to people from a range of different backgrounds but you must have relevant transferable skills.
- Qualified: Having a qualification as a teaching assistant or in childcare would be a bonus but we are open to taking people on with relatable qualifications too.
- Mobile: You have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
