Are you passionate about delivering 1:1 support? We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate 1:1 Teaching Assistant to join our partner school in the Burton area. About the Role
You will work closely with a child who has special educational needs, providing tailored support to help them access learning and develop essential life skills. Your responsibilities include:
- Building a strong, trusting relationship with your assigned student to create a stable and supportive learning environment
- Delivering personalised 1:1 support while also facilitating small group work sessions when required
- Maintaining accurate records and updating care plans to reflect the child’s progress and changing needs
- Collaborating with teachers, SENCO, and other professionals to implement effective support strategies

Location: Burton upon Trent area
Start Date: ASAP – September starts available
Contract: Term‑time only – Permanent – Part‑time or full‑time
Salary Range: 21,000 – 23,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
Qualifications
Ideally a teaching assistant qualification or relevant background in child care, healthcare, or social care. We are open to a range of qualifications.
