Playlist is hiring for a CRO Developer Lead role. You’ll lead a team of CRO Developers focused on unlocking growth through experimentation. This role emphasizes analytics, insight, and testing strategy to spark discovery and deliver measurable impact across our web properties.
Responsibilities
- Own the CRO roadmap, guiding prioritization and execution of high-impact A/B tests across B2C and B2B experiences.
- Lead with data: transform performance metrics and behavioral insights into clear hypotheses and winning strategies.
- Collaborate with marketing, product, engineering, and regional teams to align testing with business goals.
- Bring structure and clarity to complex findings, making results actionable for technical and non-technical stakeholders alike.
- Champion rigorous QA processes to ensure smooth, scalable experimentation across browsers and devices.
- Guide the implementation of winning variants into CMS platforms like WordPress or Contentful.
- Continuously monitor and communicate the impact of tests, celebrating wins and learning from losses.
- Inspire and develop a team of CRO Developers, creating a space where innovation, growth, and experimentation thrive.
Experience You Bring
- 5+ years working in CRO, digital analytics, or web performance roles.
- 2+ years leading teams, ideally within a testing or analytics function.
- Hands-on experience with Optimizely (or similar platforms) and a data-forward mindset.
- Proficiency in Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and SQL to turn insights into action.
- Comfortable navigating CMS platforms to integrate winning experiences.
- Skilled at distilling data into clear, compelling narratives that drive decisions.
- Strong project management instincts with the ability to rally cross-functional teams.
- A passion for continuous improvement, curiosity, and evidence-based thinking.
