The Opportunity

As an Public Area Attendant, you'll be responsible for helping maintain the high standards that make Lakeside Hotel & Spa a leading destination in the Lake District.

This hands-on role is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys staying active, and likes seeing the results of a job well done.

Working mainly during the afternoon and early evening, you'll be responsible for ensuring our public areas, swimming pool, spa facilities and changing rooms remain clean, safe and welcoming for guests.

You'll also support the housekeeping team with bedroom servicing when required, making sure the hotel is ready for the following day.

This is a varied role where no two shifts are the same.

You'll work independently and as part of a supportive team, helping to maintain the presentation and smooth running of the hotel.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout communal and public areas.
  • Cleaning and preparing the swimming pool, spa facilities and changing rooms.
  • Carrying out scheduled cleaning tasks and evening checks across the hotel.
  • Assisting with guest bedrooms when required to support the housekeeping team.
  • Replenishing supplies and ensuring all areas are well presented.
  • Reporting maintenance issues or anything requiring attention.
  • Following health and safety procedures at all times.
  • Taking pride in ensuring guests enjoy a clean, safe and comfortable environment.
