The Old Swan Hotel, Harrogate are looking for a new team member to join our existing team. In return for your commitment, your benefits will be:
- Straight Shifts (40 hours over 5 days)

Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive at the hotel
- Check guests in and out, ensuring a smooth and efficient process
- Provide information about hotel facilities, services, and local attractions
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints in a professional manner
- Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate department or staff member
- Maintain accurate guest records
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and email correspondence
Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to provide exceptional customer service
- Strong organizational skills to handle multiple tasks and prioritise effectively
- Proficiency in using phone systems and other office equipment
- Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in guest information and transactions

Requirements
- Fluent in English, with strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills

- Proficient in using computer systems (Guestline PMS) and software for reservations and guest management
Note: Previous experience in a similar role or in the hospitality industry is preferred but not required. Training will be provided.

Pay: Minimum Wage plus Gratuities. A live-in position may be available on a Live-in wage
