We have an excellent opportunity to join our friendly front of house team at Farington Lodge Hotel as a Part Time Receptionist. Receptionist Responsibilities β Guest Service & Hotel Administration
- Welcome guests and visitors warmly, delivering professional and friendly service at all times.
- Handle guest check-ins, check-outs and reservations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency using the hotelβs systems.
- Answer the telephone, respond promptly to email/enquiries, and assist guests with general information about the hotel and local area.
- Manage day-to-day reception duties, such as handling payments, issuing room keys and maintaining records in line with hotel policy.
- Communicate guest feedback, requests and special requirements to the relevant departments to ensure excellent guest satisfaction.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues in housekeeping, food and beverage, and management to deliver a seamless hotel experience.
- Assist with administrative tasks, including bookings, reporting, and maintaining a tidy and welcoming reception area.
- Uphold health and safety, privacy and security procedures for guests and colleagues throughout your shift.
Skills & Experience β Ideal Part Time Receptionist
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the confidence to provide a great first impression to all guests.
- Previous experience in a hotel, hospitality, customer service or administration role is advantageous but not essential as full training will be provided.
