We are looking for a reliable and guest-focused Food and Beverage Assistant to join our team on a part‑time basis. This is a key front‑of‑house role, responsible for delivering warm, efficient service across our food and beverage outlets and ensuring every guest enjoys a positive and memorable experience.

The Role

As a Food and Beverage Assistant, you will support daily service in our restaurant, brasserie and bar areas. You will take and serve food and drink orders, assist with set up and clear down, and contribute to maintaining high standards of presentation, cleanliness and guest care. You will work closely with the wider Food & Beverage team to provide seamless service during busy periods, events and regular service times.

About You

  • Previous experience in a hospitality, restaurant or hotel environment (desirable but not essential)
  • A friendly, professional and approachable manner when interacting with guests and colleagues
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • The ability to work efficiently in a busy, fast‑paced environment
  • Attention to detail and pride in presentation and cleanliness
  • A flexible, reliable attitude with willingness to work evenings and weekends
  • A team‑focused approach and readiness to support colleagues across outlets

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent guest service, including taking orders, serving food and beverages, and checking guest satisfaction
  • Assist with table setup, clearing and resetting according to service requirements
  • Process payments accurately and follow cash handling procedures
  • Maintain cleanliness and presentation of service areas, dining rooms and back‑of‑house spaces
  • Support stock rotation and basic restocking tasks, reporting shortages to supervisors
  • Adhere to licensing laws, health & safety and company policies, including the responsible service of alcohol
  • Work with the Food & Beverage team to support events, private dining and promotional activity as required
