We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Commis to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will assist in the preparation and presentation of high-quality dishes while ensuring that food safety standards are met. Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation of ingredients and dishes as per the chef's specifications.
  • Maintain a clean and organised kitchen workspace, adhering to food safety regulations.
  • Support senior chefs in food production and presentation, ensuring high standards are met.
  • Help supervise kitchen staff and assist with training new team members.
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
  • Participate in inventory management, including stock rotation and ordering supplies as needed.
  • Contribute to menu development by providing feedback on dishes and suggesting improvements.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a kitchen environment is preferred but not essential; a passion for food preparation is key.
