Salary: £70,000 Per Annum

The Role: As a Senior App Developer, you will spearhead the build and integration of a cutting-edge mobile application designed to complement our e-commerce platform. You will leverage Magento APIs to build seamless and scalable solutions, ensuring that our app provides an exceptional user experience. This is a pivotal role in our technology team, where you will have the freedom to make decisions, innovate, and contribute to the evolution of our tech stack.

Key Responsibilities:

• Key role in the end-to-end development of a mobile app, utilizing Magento APIs for seamless integration with our e-commerce platform.
• Implement scalable and performant app architecture using a modern tech stack.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless integration and user-friendly experience.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues, ensuring high-quality code and maintaining continuous improvement.
• Implement industry best practices for code quality, security, performance, and scalability.
• Ensure the app is optimized for speed, usability, and cross-platform compatibility.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies, continuously bringing new ideas and solutions to the team.

Functional Skills and Experience:

• Proven experience in developing mobile applications, ideally with Magento integration, using modern mobile app development frameworks such as React Native, Flutter, or Swift/Kotlin for native development.
• Expertise in Magento API, including REST and GraphQL APIs, and experience with integrating third-party systems and services.
• Strong knowledge of backend technologies and APIs (PHP, Node.js, etc.), and the ability to create robust API integrations.
• Experience working with cloud technologies (AWS, Google Cloud, etc.) for hosting and services.
• Proficiency in version control using Git and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
• Solid understanding of mobile app performance optimization, security protocols, and user experience design.
• Experience working closely with DB optimisation and data management tools.
• Knowledge of analytics and user behaviour tracking to inform development decisions.
