Classic Collective is seeking an experienced classic car mechanic to join our established service, maintenance and upgrades business based in Bicester. This is a full-time, permanent role working on a diverse range of heritage and modern-classic vehicles, typically spanning from 1950 through to the early 2000s. Classic Collective works across many respected heritage marques, most notably Aston Martin, Porsche, BMW, Mercedes-Benz, MG, Triumph, Jaguar and Jensen. The role offers exposure to a wide variety of engineering, vehicle architectures and eras.

You will be working in a modern facility alongside a long-serving team of seven staff, supported by structured workshop systems and market-leading equipment.

Working hours and leave:

  • Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm
  • Standard UK holiday allowance plus Bank Holidays

Key responsibilities:

  • Service, maintain and repair a wide variety of heritage and modern-classic vehicles
  • Carry out mechanical and auto electrical diagnostics, fault finding and repairs
  • Install quality upgrades and components supplied by recognised specialist manufacturers
  • Work accurately and efficiently using electronic job cards and timekeeping software
  • Ensure all work meets safety, quality, and MOT standards applicable to classic vehicles
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment
  • Communicate clearly with colleagues and management regarding job progress and technical findings

Skills and experience required:

  • Proven professional experience working within the classic car sector
  • Expert knowledge of mechanical systems and auto electrical systems across multiple marques
  • Strong understanding of safety requirements and MOT standards for classic vehicles
  • High level of attention to detail and pride in workmanship
  • Ability to manage time effectively and work reliably to deadlines
  • Confident use of computers and digital workshop systems, with training provided
