We are looking for a Paediatric Clinical Trainer who will be responsible for developing, delivering, and evaluating training programs that enhance the clinical skills of healthcare teams and professionals working in paediatric care. This role combines expertise in paediatrics with the ability to educate and mentor others in community-based settings. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to improving patient care through education and will collaborate closely with our clinical director to ensure high standards of paediatric practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the design & Deliver Training: Develop and conduct educational sessions on paediatric care for non-clinical staff (carers, support workers, family members) to ensure safety and competency in delegated tasks.
- Competency sign off: Provide clinical competency sign offs for all trained tasks required in the support package, enhancing their practical skills in paediatrics.
- Evaluation & Feedback: Assess the effectiveness of training programs and provide constructive feedback to ensure optimal learning outcomes.
- Stay Updated: Keep up-to-date with the latest paediatric healthcare practices and integrate new research and evidence-based guidelines into training programs.
- Collaboration: Work closely with paediatric clinical teams to assess training needs and improve care delivery through education.
