Compensation: $20.50/hour
Schedule: Continental rotation – 08:00–20:00 / 20:00–08:00

What You’ll Do:
- Patrol hospital grounds, entrances, parking lots, and critical areas
- Monitor surveillance and alarm systems for unusual activity
- Ensure secure access control, only permitting authorized entry
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies and fire alarms
- Assist and direct patients, visitors, and staff with courtesy
- De-escalate conflicts with professionalism and poise
- Collaborate with hospital personnel and local authorities
- Maintain accurate reports of daily activities and incidents
You’ll Thrive Here If You Have:
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- The ability to stay composed and make smart decisions quickly

- Able to obtain a Nova Scotia Security License (Paladin can assist)
- Valid First Aid & CPR Level C certification with AED
- Completed immunization records for MMR, Varicella, and TB test
- Fully vaccinated for COVID-19
- Fluent in English (spoken and written)
- Willing to complete Use of Force (UoF) and MOAB training (covered by Paladin with a 6-month role commitment)
- High School Diploma/GED
