Class Technology Solutions (CTS) is a leading Education ICT solutions provider that provides consultancy, infrastructure services, network development and upgrades, and managed support services to educational establishments throughout the UK.CTS seeks to develop and bring to market innovative solutions.We are looking for a Device Engineer to work on-site at our Crawley based Service Centre. Together with your team you will diagnose and repair laptops and help in other areas of the operations department when needed.Key Tasks

TechnicalDiagnose incoming laptops for defects and damage

and log appropriately.Be able to install a windows operating system.Maintenance of equipment, specialist repairs/modifications upgrades, software/hardware enhancements within own capabilities.Diagnose a hardware problem vs Accidental Damage.Ability to provide neat fixing, including cleaning of devices and making sure the device is sealed properly. Training will be provided.Able to check work appropriately and feel empowered to feedback/update tickets with diagnostic resultsand allocateESD locations to repairs as part of our quality assurance process.Provide a basic level of Technical Support to end users on a 1

Line if needed.Update tickets with relevant Easy4u status in line with relevant repair diagnosis.Customer ServiceKnowledge of dealing with individuals and resolving issues in a timely manner.Ability to communicate well in written English.Work with our Easy4u Service Platform and Helpdesk System to record items and ensure that Customers are informed of your progress with their repair.A strive for quality, rather than quantity.

Essential RequirementsExperience in the IT Field is desirable.An ability to demonstrate your competence with repairing/building hardware.A can do attitude to provide the best service to our customers.A self starter
