We’re looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Nursery Manager to join a nursery in Bournemouth! If you share their core values of being positive, approachable and resilient then this could be the perfect setting for you!

Responsibilities

  • This is a senior role; therefore, you will take overall responsibility of the nursery.
  • Ensuring the children are safe and supported.
  • Making sure day to day the nursery operates in line with EYFS.
  • Leading and inspiring your team.
  • Managing staff.
  • Support the children’s learning.

From a business perspective your role will also cover:

  • Organising resources.
  • Building relationships with the wider community.
  • Managing budgets.
  • Promoting the nursery locally.

Although this is a big role, rest assured you won’t be on your own! You’ll have the support of directors and the leadership team alongside clear policies and systems to guide you!

Qualifications

  • You will need to have a Level 3 Early Years Qualification, alongside 3 years of experience post qualification in a leadership or management role.
  • You should have a strong knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), Safeguarding and SEND.
  • Experience in making and implementing budgets.
  • Your staff will rely on you as well as their senior figure so you must be well experienced in staff supervision, training and performance management.

The working week covers Monday to Friday from 7am to 6pm, and you must be flexible within these times.
