Join our team as a General Operative (Traffic Management) in Shotts ML7 5DW. Must hold a full driving licence (no more than 6 points) to be eligible for this role. We offer three flexible shift patterns designed to support a healthy balance between your work commitments and personal life:

  • 12 days on, 2 days off
  • 6 days on, 1 day off
  • Part-time over 4 days – shift patterns of Sat-Tue or Thurs-Sun

We also have vacancies for high-speed operatives, which involve night shifts. These roles require a 12AB Lantra qualification.

Role Overview: As a Traffic Management Operative, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring safe and efficient traffic flow on highways and construction sites. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborating with colleagues and clients to ensure smooth operations.

Requirements:

  • Eligibility to work in the UK.
  • Flexibility to work shift patterns as stated above.
  • Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points and held for more than 10 months.
  • Within 40 minutes driving distance from the depot.
  • Valid traffic management qualifications (e.g. Lantra 12AB, 12D, M1/M2, or Unit 2 – desirable but not essential).
