Class Mate is working with a welcoming primary school who are looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to support within their Year 1/2 team, starting from 24th February (following an INSET day). This role would suit a TA with Little Wandle phonics experience and confidence supporting children with SEMH needs.
The role includes:
- Supporting pupils across Year 1/2 within the classroom and in small groups
- Delivering and reinforcing Little Wandle phonics interventions
- Supporting children with SEMH needs, including emotional regulation and behaviour
- Working closely with the class teacher and KS1 team
- Helping to create a calm, structured, and supportive learning environment
The ideal candidate will:
- Have experience working in KS1
- Have Little Wandle training or strong phonics knowledge
