Primary School Full-time | Starting after February Half Term
Class Mate is working closely with a primary school seeking an experienced Year 1 Teacher to take on a full-time role starting after February half term. We are looking for a teacher who is confident, resilient, and genuinely enjoys a challenge. There are two Teaching Assistants in the classroom at all times, providing strong daily support. The role is initially to cover a period of staff absence, with the potential to continue until the end of the academic year.
The role:
- Full responsibility for a Year 1 class
- Planning and delivering engaging, structured KS1 lessons
- Managing behaviour with consistency, empathy, and clear routines
- Working closely with two in-class TAs and the wider SEN team
- Adapting teaching to meet a range of additional learning and emotional needs
