Full-time / Part-time | Starting ASAP

Class Mate is looking for an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant with a strong understanding of ASD and ADHD to join a welcoming primary school in the NG5 area to starting as soon as possible.

This role is ideal for a patient, dedicated TA with experience supporting pupils with additional needs, either on a 1:1 basis or in small groups.

The role:

Providing targeted 1:1 and small group SEN support

*

Supporting pupils with EHCPs and additional learning needs

*

Assisting with emotional regulation, engagement, and behaviour

*

Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO

*

Helping to create a calm, inclusive, and supportive learning environment

The ideal candidate will:

Have experience supporting children with SEN (ASD, ADHD, SEMH, etc.)

*

Be calm, patient, and consistent

*

Understand the importance of routine and clear boundaries

*

Hold a Level 2 or Level 3 TA qualification (desirable)
