Year 3/4 Class Teacher Full Time

About the Role

Class Mate is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 3/4 Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in the DE55 area. This is a full-time teaching role starting January 2026, running until March 2026, with the strong possibility of continuing further.

The successful candidate will take on full classroom teaching responsibilities, delivering high-quality learning, maintaining a positive classroom environment, and contributing fully to school life.

Responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess engaging lessons for a Year 3/4 class
• Maintain excellent classroom management and create a supportive learning atmosphere
• Work collaboratively with the wider staff team
• Track pupil progress and provide timely feedback
• Support the school\’s policies, values, and safeguarding procedures

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) essential
• Experience teaching within KS2, ideally Year 3/4
• Strong behaviour management and organisational skills
• Commitment to delivering high-quality teaching and learning
• Up-to-date knowledge of the KS2 curriculum
