Are you ready to inspire a class of curious little learners at the very start of their school journey? This friendly, community-focused primary school in B36 is looking for a motivated and creative Year 1 Teacher to join the team full time. You’ll be joining a nurturing environment where teamwork, positivity, and high-quality teaching make every day rewarding.
The Role
- Full-time teaching position (Monday – Friday, 8:15 am – 3:15 pm)
- Deliver inspiring lessons across the KS1 curriculum with a focus on phonics, early literacy, and numeracy
- Foster a happy, engaging classroom where children feel confident and excited to learn
- Track pupil progress, provide differentiated support, and celebrate every success
- Work closely with a committed team of colleagues and parents to ensure every child thrives
What We’re Looking For
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS or equivalent)
- Experience teaching KS1 – ideally Year 1
- A warm, nurturing approach with genuine enthusiasm for early learning
- Strong understanding of phonics and early reading development
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and organisational skills
