Are you an experienced and enthusiastic KS2 Teacher looking for a fulfilling part-time opportunity in a supportive Nottingham primary school? We’re working with a welcoming, community-focused school in the NG5 area seeking a Year 5 Teacher to join their team on a 3-day-per-week basis. This is a fantastic chance to teach an engaging, well-behaved Year 5 class and to work alongside a friendly and collaborative staff team.
The Role
- Teaching a Year 5 class across 3 days per week (flexible on which days for the right candidate)
- Delivering engaging lessons across the KS2 curriculum
- Supporting pupils to achieve their best through creative, inclusive teaching
- Monitoring progress, providing feedback, and maintaining high standards of learning
- Working closely with the KS2 team to ensure continuity and a positive classroom culture
What We’re Looking For
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience teaching within Key Stage 2 (ideally Year 5 or Year 6)
- Strong classroom management and clear communication skills
- A positive, reflective teacher who builds strong relationships with pupils and colleagues
