KS2 1:1 SEND Teaching Assistant β ADHD β NG5 Β£100βΒ£110 per day | Full-time | September start Class Mate is recruiting for a KS2 1:1 SEND Teaching Assistant to support a pupil with ADHD at a primary school in NG5.
Youβll provide consistent, individualised support to help the pupil access learning, manage the school day and develop greater confidence and independence.
The Role
- Provide dedicated 1:1 support for a KS2 pupil with ADHD
- Support access to classroom learning and activities
- Use appropriate strategies to encourage focus and engagement
- Help promote positive behaviour and emotional regulation
- Adapt activities to meet the pupil's individual needs
- Work closely with the class teacher and SEND team We're Looking For
- Experience supporting children or young people with SEND
- Experience supporting pupils with ADHD is highly desirable
- Understanding of behaviour, regulation and individual support strategies
- Patient, consistent and nurturing approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
