Class Education are currently seeking dedicated, friendly and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to join our lovely team with vibrant schools in Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire. We have a variety of positions available including full, part time or flexible supply work, doing as few or as many days a week, working around other employment or commitments.

Responsibilities

  • As a Teaching Assistant in schools, you will play a crucial role in supporting the educational and social development of students, working closely with teachers to provide an inclusive and engaging learning environment.
  • Assisting a classroom teacher in delivering lessons and activities.
  • Provide one-on-one support to students who require additional help if needed.
  • Help to manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning atmosphere.
  • Support students with special educational needs (SEN) and disabilities if required.
  • Assist with administrative tasks and classroom organisation.

Requirements

  • Experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role is preferred, but not essential.
  • A passion for working with children and supporting their development.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work productively with teachers and other staff members.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a classroom setting.
