We are delighted to be able to offer SEN Teaching Assistants, part-time, full time or ad hoc supply days in classroom based settings. The Teaching Assistant will be working with pupils with ASD, ADHD, Autism and just need that extra support. These opportunities are exciting for anyone wishing to be part of a dedicated team and with a strong desire to develop children’s learning and improve their life chances.

You will need to be an enthusiastic team player with a positive outlook to facilitate the children reaching their full potential. Experience of working with Special Educational Needs would be an advantage although not essential. Ideally you will be patient and calm, with a consistent and positive approach to managing pupils’ behaviour and a good understanding of how children learn.

A friendly and caring nature and be reflective and self-motivated. A positive attitude being flexible and cheerful. A good imagination to develop the children’s learning through play. The ability to use your initiative and facilitate individual children’s learning. Dedication to safeguarding the children and the environment.
