About the Role

  • Daily Coordination
    • Act as the first point of contact for staff absences each morning, checking emails and phone messages.
    • Update internal systems and begin arranging the day’s cover needs promptly.
  • Scheduling
    • Build the daily cover schedule using internal staff, external agency supply, and your own supervised sessions.
    • Liaise professionally with supply agencies to secure appropriate classroom supervision.
  • Classroom Supervision
    • Deliver pre-set work to classes and maintain a calm, positive working environment.
    • Ensure students remain focused, supported, and engaged in their tasks.
  • Administration
    • Maintain accurate absence and cover records.
    • Assist with basic finance administration such as raising purchase orders and checking agency invoices.

What We’re Looking For

  • Excellent organisational skills, especially during busy morning periods.
  • Clear communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Confidence in the classroom, able to supervise students effectively.
  • Good IT literacy, including school management systems (e.g. Arbor) and spreadsheets.
  • Punctual and dependable, with the ability to begin work consistently at 7:00 am.
