The Role

  • Support KS4 students with complex behavioural or social needs
  • Re-engage reluctant learners using flexible, practical strategies
  • Deliver 1:1 and small-group intervention, including off-site work
  • Build strong, trusting and consistent relationships
  • Manage behaviour using empathy and clear boundaries
  • Work independently and as part of a wider multidisciplinary team

Essential

  • Experience supporting young people with complex needs
  • Strong behaviour management and emotional resilience
  • Confident working in community/off-site learning environments
  • Ability to motivate KS4 male students who are disengaged

Desirable

  • Experience in SEN or alternative provision
  • Knowledge of trauma-informed or restorative approaches
  • Ability to create personalised learning tasks
