Location: Village School Close to Stevenage Contract Type: Fixed-Term | Start Date: September 2025 Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 15:00 – 18:00 Class Education is delighted to be working in partnership with a village primary school near Stevenage to recruit a Level 3 qualified After School Club Assistant. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a warm, community-focused school as they expand their wraparound care team. About the Role: The school is looking for a caring and enthusiastic individual who enjoys working with children and can help create a safe, engaging, and enjoyable afterschool environment. You’ll support daily activities, encourage positive behaviour, and help make the club a place where children love to be. Main Responsibilities: * Organise and participate in fun, age-appropriate activities. * Ensure the club provides a safe, welcoming and inclusive space. * Help with the smooth day-to-day running of the afterschool provision. * Safely prepare, serve and store food in line with hygiene standards. * Maintain a clean and tidy environment after each session. * Administer or supervise first aid as needed and record incidents. * Attend relevant training and team meetings. * Carry out other duties as required by the school.
