Teaching Assistant – Long term / Permanent / Part-time / Day-to-Day Location: Horsham, West Sussex and surrounding areas Class Cover are recruiting Teaching Assistants for Schools in Horsham, Billingshurst, Crawley and surrounding Areas. We have a range of Long-term / Permanent / Part-time / Day-to-Day work available. If you are looking to get into teaching or want to help in the classroom please do let Class Cover know! Key Responsibilities: * Collaborate with teaching staff to provide valuable classroom support and assistance to students. * Offer one-on-one support and guidance to students with specific learning needs and challenges. * Foster a nurturing and inclusive learning environment that promotes academic and personal growth for all students. * Assist in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for students with Special Educational Needs (SEN). * Support students' social and emotional development, contributing to their overall well-being Requirements: * Minimum of 12 weeks of prior experience working in a school setting. * Genuine passion for working with children and contributing to their learning progress. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with students and colleagues. * Demonstrated patience, empathy, and the ability to connect with students from diverse backgrounds. * Flexibility and adaptability to excel in various educational settings. * Proactive attitude towards problem-solving and taking initiative. * Strong organizational skills to manage tasks and responsibilities effectively. Preferred (but not essential) qualifications and experience: * Experience working with students with Special Educational Needs (SEN). * Relevant qualifications or training related to Learning Support or SEN. * Familiarity with various teaching strategies and educational interventions.
