Teaching Assistant - Daily supply from as soon as possible
These flexible opportunities are ideal for Teaching Assistants who enjoy variety and want to make a positive impact across different primary school settings in Wantage and the surrounding areas.
Duties as Teaching Assistant:
- Support pupils across EYFS, KS1 and KS2 in both classroom and small group settings
- Assist teachers with lesson preparation and classroom management
- Provide tailored support to pupils with additional learning needs
- Promote inclusive practice and encourage pupil independence
- Help maintain a safe, engaging and positive learning environment
- Monitor pupil progress and contribute to assessments and reviews
Ideal Teaching Assistant:
- Has recent experience working in a primary school setting
- Demonstrates a good understanding of the primary curriculum and child development
- Is patient, adaptable and confident supporting pupils of varying abilities
- Holds a relevant Level 2 or Level 3 qualification (or equivalent experience)
- Has a clear Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willing to obtain one
