Duties as Religious Education Teacher
- Teach Religious Education to Year 10 and Year 11 students
- Plan and deliver engaging GCSE-level lessons
- Encourage discussion, analysis, and critical thinking
- Assess, monitor, and report on student progress
- Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all students
- Maintain high expectations for behaviour and achievement
- Contribute positively to the wider Humanities department
Ideal Religious Education Teacher
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience teaching Religious Education at secondary level
- Experience teaching or preparing students for GCSE examinations
- Strong classroom management skills
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities
- Passion for inspiring and motivating young people
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
