Primary School Teacher – Flexible short-term and long-term opportunities available immediately
These flexible opportunities are ideal for teachers who enjoy variety and want to make a positive impact across different primary school settings. You will be supporting pupils in Oxford and the surrounding areas, delivering high‑quality learning experiences across EYFS, KS1, and KS2.
Duties as Primary School Teacher:
- Deliver engaging lessons across the primary curriculum following provided plans
- Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Manage behaviour effectively in line with school policies
- Adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of individual learners
- Assess and record pupil progress when required
- Communicate effectively with school staff and contribute to wider school life during longer-term placements
Ideal Primary School Teacher:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Strong knowledge across the EYFS, KS1, and KS2 curriculum
- Confident classroom and behaviour management skills
- Adaptable across different year groups and school environments
- Positive, proactive, and professional approach to supporting pupil learning
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare
