Secondary Teacher (ECT) – Full-time, long-term supply starting September 2026. These long-term supply opportunities are ideal for Early Career Teachers who are looking to gain valuable experience and build confidence across different secondary school settings. You will be working in schools in Chipping Norton and the surrounding areas, delivering consistent, high-quality teaching while developing your classroom practice in a supportive long-term role. This position is suitable for ECTs across a range of secondary subjects.

Duties as Secondary Teacher (ECT):

  • Deliver engaging and well-structured lessons in line with the secondary curriculum
  • Teach your specialist subject across KS3 and KS4, depending on experience
  • Plan, prepare, and adapt lessons to meet the needs of pupils of varying abilities
  • Create a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment
  • Use effective behaviour management strategies to maintain high expectations
  • Assess, monitor, and record pupil progress where required
