Duties as Catering Tutor:
- Delivering high-quality catering and hospitality training
- Teaching food preparation, kitchen operations, hygiene, and food safety practices
- Planning and delivering engaging practical and theory-based sessions
- Monitoring learner progress and providing feedback and support
- Supporting learners to achieve qualifications and employment outcomes
- Promoting a safe, professional, and inclusive learning environment
Ideal Catering Tutor:
- Previous experience within catering, hospitality, professional kitchens, food production, or a related industry (essential)
- Strong practical knowledge of food preparation and kitchen procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to motivate and support learners from diverse backgrounds
- Organised, adaptable, and enthusiastic approach
