Duties as English Teacher:- Deliver engaging English lessons using pre-prepared resources
- Teach English language and literature across relevant key stages
- Maintain a positive and well-managed classroom environment
- Implement behaviour management strategies in line with school policies
- Support pupils’ engagement and progress during lessons
- Follow existing schemes of work without planning responsibilities
- Provide verbal feedback to pupils during lessons
- Work collaboratively with department staff and support teams
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience teaching English at secondary level
- Confident classroom and behaviour management skills
- Ability to deliver lessons effectively without planning or marking duties
