Class 1 Personnel is Hiring: Warehouse Parcel Sorters (Tamworth-based – Work in Atherstone CV9)
We\’re looking for reliable and hardworking Warehouse Parcel Sorters to support our client at their busy Atherstone mail centre during the peak Christmas period.
Are you based in Tamworth and able to commute to Atherstone (CV9)?
Join Class 1 Personnel this festive season and play a key role in keeping the nation\’s mail moving!
Start Date: 3rd November
Contract: Temporary role to support the busy Christmas period
Shifts Available (working 5 days out of 7):

AM Shift: 06:30 – 14:00 – £14.48 per hour

PM Shift: 14:30 – 22:00 – £14.48 per hour
-
Night Shift: 22:30 – 06:00 – £15.74 per hour
-
Overtime: £16.33 per hour (after 40 hours completed)

Breaks: 40-minute unpaid break per shift
Key Duties:
-
Manually sorting parcels and mail by postcode
-
Loading and unloading vehicles and cages
-
Keeping the work area clean, safe, and organised

Working efficiently to tight deadlines
Requirements:

5 years of checkable work reference (must)

Experience: Ideally 3 months\’ recent experience in warehousing, parcel sorting, or a similar physical role

Physically fit – able to lift and move parcels throughout the shift

Punctual, dependable, and detail-focused

Induction: Must be available to attend an onsite induction before the start date
