The Role:
As the transport supervisor you'll report to the Transport Manager and will be primarily responsible for work in a team and work well under pressure and in new environments on a daily basis. We are currently looking for a skilled and dedicated Transport Supervisor to join our dynamic team. Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the transport department, ensuring efficient and safe transportation of goods and personnel.
- Manage and supervise a team of drivers, dispatchers, and other transport staff.
- Coordinate routes, schedules, and vehicle maintenance to optimize delivery performance.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations, legal requirements, and company policies.
- Monitor fuel usage, vehicle condition, and repair needs to minimize downtime.
- Resolve any transport-related issues or complaints in a timely and professional manner.
- Prepare reports on transportation performance, including cost analysis and efficiency metrics.
- Work closely with other departments to ensure smooth coordination of logistics and deliveries.
Key Requirements:
