Class 1 Personnel are recruiting experienced Class 1 HGV Drivers on behalf of a national parcel delivery company based in the Chelmsford area. Following a successful driving assessment, drivers will be responsible for transporting parcels and mail between distribution centres nationwide.
The Role- Class 1 trunking work between depots and distribution centres
- Minimal manual handling
- Average shift length: 9-10 hours
- Shifts planned and offered 1 week in advance
- Early morning, day, and night shifts available
- Guaranteed minimum of 7.25 hours per shift
- Ongoing temporary work
From £20.53 per hour to £24.40 per hour depending on times worked.
Requirements- Valid Class 1 HGV Driver (C+E) licence
- Minimum 1 year Class 1 driving experience
- Minimum 180 driving days completed within the last 12 months
- Maximum 3 penalty points
- Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
All successful applicants will be required to complete a 4-hour driving assessment, pass an infringement check, and complete a full vetting process including a DBS check.
