Class 1 Personnel is recruiting Class 1 (CE) Driver for a leading logistics distribution and supply chain company based in Berkshire, Slough (SL3 0BB). The role involves transporting goods between airports, depots, warehouses and delivery hubs while following all safety and compliance procedures.

Requirements

  • Valid UK Class 1 (CE) Licence
  • CPC and Digital Tacho Card
  • Minimum 5 years' verifiable work history (HMRC/P45/P60)
  • Clean criminal record (or Police Clearance Certificate if required)
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Reliable, flexible and safety focused

Available Shifts

  • Late Floaters: 6:00 PM - 11:00 PM
  • Monday - Friday: Start between 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM
  • Flexi Shifts: Start between 3:00 PM - 7:00 PM
  • Flexi Shifts: Start between 6:00 PM - 10:00 PM
  • Tuesday - Saturday: Start between 12:00 AM - 5:00 AM
  • Tuesday - Saturday: Start between 11:00 PM - 4:00 AM
  • Monday - Friday: Start between 6:00 PM - 11:00 PM
  • Monday - Friday: Start between 11:00 PM - 4:00 AM
  • Monday - Friday: Start between 5:00 AM - 11:00 AM

Duties

  • Drive Class 1 vehicles safely between depots and distribution centres
  • Load and unload mail and parcels when required
  • Complete daily vehicle checks
  • Follow planned routes and delivery schedules
  • Maintain accurate paperwork
  • Follow all health and safety procedures

Assessment

Successful applicants will complete a theory and practical driving assessment before starting.
