Kitchen work is teamwork - Marcel Riemer. Seeking motivated Kitchen Porters looking for their next challenge! Offering generous and competitive hourly rates of £12.71-£14.50 per hour based on skill and experience and free food on shift!
A range of work environments on offer, including education, B&I and events. Shifts are flexible with events running every day of the week.
We welcome motivated porters who are:
- Able to work within a team and independently
- Able to work confidently in busy or unfamiliar environments
- Reliable, punctual, and professionally presented
- Strong communicators who work well under pressure
- Knowledgeable about food safety and hygiene procedures
- Flexible with shifts (daytime, evenings, weekends)
- Experience as a KP is preferred
- Driving licence is preferred but not required
- Enhanced DBS with child barring is preferred but not required
Your role may include but not be limited to:
- Adhere to all responsibilities instructed at the start of your shift
- Understand and follow all back of house duties such as using machines, washing up by hand, sweeping and mopping floors, emptying refuse bins, cleaning the kitchen area
- Maintain a clean, safe working environment
- Know your chemicals, COSHH, HACCP
- Step into short-notice temporary shifts with confidence
- Meet uniform standards such as safety shoes, cleaned and ironed uniform
