The Role
You'll play an important part in the smooth day-to-day running of the depot, operating a front-loading JCB safely and efficiently while helping to keep the site organised, clean and operating effectively.
Your Responsibilities
- Safely operate a front-loading JCB around the waste depot.
- Load, move and position skips across the site.
- Push up waste bays to maintain efficient operations.
- Carry out general yard housekeeping and litter picking.
- Arrange replacement skips when required.
- Complete routine site and yard inspections.
- Work in line with all Health & Safety procedures and site policies.
What We're Looking For - Operator JCB
- Proven experience operating a front-loading JCB.
- A valid plant operator qualification or certification.
- Good knowledge of Health & Safety within a waste, recycling, construction or industrial environment.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A reliable, proactive and safety-focused approach to work.
- A full UK driving licence (subject to a satisfactory DVLA licence check).
