We are looking for a talented Event Assistant to work for our client in Northampton. They want to recruit someone with a background of previous experience in the field. If that’s you then you could be exactly what they’re looking for, even if you’ve got limited experience.
Responsibilities
- As the Event Assistant you’ll report to the Event Manager and will need to work well in a team, under pressure and in a new environment, in different venues in Northampton.
- Provide administrative, organisational, and logistical support to an event planner or event coordinator.
- Assist with creative decisions.
- Help set up and dismantle events efficiently through to completion.
The standard working hours for this position are 7/8 hour shifts.
Qualifications
- The ideal candidate for this Event Assistant role will have relevant background of previous experience in the field.
- You’ll also need experience of the ability to work calmly under pressure as well as good literacy skills, verbal written and spoken.
- An excellent communication, teamwork and customer service skills.
- Eager to contribute new ideas.
