Class 1 Personnel is Hiring: Warehouse Mail Sorter (Tamworth-based – Work in Atherstone CV9)

We’re looking for reliable and hardworking Warehouse Mail Sorter to support our client at their busy Atherstone mail centre during the peak Christmas period.

Join Class 1 Personnel this festive season and play a key role in keeping the nation’s mail moving!

Start Date: 3rd November (Onsite induction may be required earlier)
Contract: Temporary role to support the busy Christmas period

Shifts Available (working 5 days out of 7)

• AM Shift: 06:30 – 14:00 – £14.48 per hour
• PM Shift: 14:30 – 22:00 – £14.48 per hour
• Night Shift: 22:30 – 06:00 – £15.74 per hour
• Overtime: £16.33 per hour (after 40 hours completed)
• Breaks: 40-minute unpaid break per shift

Mail Sorter Key Duties

• Manually sorting parcels and mail by postcode
• Loading and unloading vehicles and cages
• Keeping the work area clean, safe, and organised
• Working efficiently to tight deadlines

Requirements

• 5 years of checkable work reference (must)
• Experience: Ideally 3 months\’ recent experience in warehousing, parcel sorting, or a similar physical role
• Physically fit – able to lift and move parcels throughout the shift
• Punctual, dependable, and detail-focused

Additional Details

• Induction: Must be available to attend an onsite induction before the start date
• DBS Check: Applicants must be happy to complete a standard DBS check
