We are currently seeking an experienced Loading Shovel Driver to join our well-established client based in Middlesbrough. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a company leading the way in converting commercial and industrial waste into energy through advanced pelletising technology.
Pay rate: 13.79 per hour, weekly pay in arrears, every Friday
Schedule: 12h shifts: 4 on 4 off rotating: 4 days on-4 off-4 nights-4 off
Timings: dayshift 7am-7pm & nightshift 7pm-7am
Duties & Responsibilities:
- The role involves operating Loading Shovel Truck to perform various tasks including tipping and loading of vehicles outside in all weather conditions.
- Drive loading shovel to transport materials within the facility & ensure the health & safety standards are met.
- Loading outgoing vehicles and separating waste.
- Transporting material, feeding lines and hoppers with material for process.
- Supporting general yard operations & co-operating with site management as required.
- Emptying chutes and bunkers.
Candidates must:
- Have valid Excavator Loading Shovel license.
- Be able to work outside in all weather conditions.
- Be able to adapt quickly to a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
- Have previous experience within a waste & recycling industrial environment would be an advantage.
- A current valid Loading Shovel and 360 excavator (wheeled) certificate along with previous experience is required.
