Class 1 Personnel are working with a local client to recruit a 7.5T driver for their site based in Kidderminster. You will be collecting household waste from homes ensuring all customers receive exceptional customer service as part of a team. As a 7.5T Driver, you will ensure that all vehicle checks are completed daily.

Essential Criteria:

  • Valid 7.5T CPC card
  • Tacho Card
  • Must hold full driving licence with 7.5T eligibility
  • Maximum of 6 points on licence and no bans
  • Takes pride in delivering exceptional customer service

Main Job Description:

  • Drive vehicles in a safe and legal manner ensuring compliance with all legal and company requirements at all times.
  • Participate in waste collections, manoeuvre the vehicle and take responsibility for collection route ensuring completion and report any issues that may occur to the line manager.
  • All daily checks are undertaken ensuring defects are immediately reported and correct paperwork complete.
  • Always observe procedures and policies.
  • Manage your routing to ensure premium and timed deliveries are achieved.
  • Ensure the correct equipment and PPE (personal protective equipment) is in good order and always used.
  • Deal with any customer issues in a polite and effective manner.

  • Previous experience working on Dustcarts is desirable
